She was an accomplished pool player, playing on teams in the Abraham, Shooters and APA Pool Leagues. She was an MVP in the Abraham Pool League and won a trip to the Las Vegas Championship for the APA Pool League.

Crystal enjoyed playing pool and bingo; being outside, camping, fishing and working in her yard; and collecting butterflies, unicorns, angels and animals. She loved music and spending time with her family and friends.

She will be remembered for her friendly, helpful and outgoing personality; for being blunt and straight-forward; and for being very protective of the people she loved.

Mikki contacted me because she knew that seeing the kids again was one of Crystal's last wishes, and I'll be forever grateful for her making that happen.  I had the chance to meet Crystal shortly before she passed, and I am SO GLAD that I was able to do that.  During our visit, Crystal showed me some very special pictures that she kept in her red photo album, shared some memories with me and was able to get to know her a little bit.  That was a very special time for me and I'm so very glad to have had that chance because I've always wanted to meet her (thank you Mikki!!). :)  I was also very lucky to meet Charlotte and Teri at that time as well. :)

The days ahead might be difficult, so stick together as family and you'll get through this.  Remember the wonderful memories of Crystal and know that she is celebrating joyfully and pain-free in heaven right now - that alone sure has to give you joy! :)

Warmly,
Kelly Wilson

To the family of Crystal Wise,

Kelly and Megan fill our lives because of Crystal and the words I have to offer at this time of loss don' t quite seem enough.  Because Crystal lived....we were able to share our lives with two baby girls who grew up to expand our hearts and our lives.

We just want to say that we are grateful to her for giving life.  We hope and pray that you are comforted by the memories you shared with Crystal and that, with the passing of time, your loss will be decorated with moments of joy and laughter as you think back on all of the days you laughed with her.

Thank you for sharing photos, so those of us who are far-away, and who have long wondered who Crystal really was, could have her become a real person instead of someone we always just imagined.

May God bless all of you as you cope with life without Crystal in the days ahead. We know she is now dancing in Heaven and that her days of suffering are already erased in her mind.  May she only always know God and joy for all eternity.

Gratefully,

Sue and Mike Partin
